A Different Kind of Dentist

Dr. Tyler Bond is a highly skilled dentist based in Missoula, Montana. He does work that most general dentists never attempt.

He set an all-time implant record during dental school. He served four years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps, treating patients in high-pressure environments alongside the Marines at Camp Lejeune. He came back to private practice and built something most of his peers had never seen: a fully robotic implant surgery program that grew his practice revenue tenfold.

He is the President of the Montana Academy of General Dentistry

He also teaches. As a clinical faculty member at The Implant Pathways, he works directly with dentists who want to bring advanced surgical skills into their own practices.

If you are here because you want to collaborate, learn, or partner, you are in the right place.

What Makes Him Different

01

Robotic Surgery, First in Montana

Dr. Bond is among a small number of dentists in the United States with full clinical training on the Yomi robotic surgery system, the first and only FDA-cleared robot for dental implant procedures. His practice was the first in Montana to adopt it.

Patients benefit from more precise implant placement, reduced chair time, and fewer complications, outcomes that robotic guidance consistently produces over freehand technique. His surgical output and practice revenue have climbed by a factor of ten.

02

Trained in Service, Not Just School

Before private practice, Dr. Bond served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps. He was stationed at Naval Base Kitsap in Washington and at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where he treated active-duty Marines and their families.

The cases were complex, the volume was high, and the margin for error was low. That experience shaped how he works.

03

A Record That Has Not Been Broken

During his time at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Bond placed 40 dental implants as a student, more than any student in the school's history.

He graduated with honors, two implant dentistry awards, and more continuing education credits earned in a single year than most dentists complete in the first decade of practice.
